Welch Space at Hampton House

The physical presence of the Lilienfeld Library closed as of December 20th, 2010 and the ninth floor will be renovated during the summer of 2011. This move allows the library to concentrate staff time, money and resources where they are most used, and allows the School of Public Health to create some much needed additional classroom, research space and various types of study space for students.

Library services and resources continue to be available:

Study space with four computers and a printer are available on the ninth floor of Hampton House.

Donna Hesson has office hours on the ninth floor Tuesday through Thursday 10 am - 2 pm and is available by phone, email and by appointment at other times. She continues to be the librarian assigned to the three departments in Hampton House—Health Policy and Management, Mental Health, and Health, Behavior and Society, and to the MPH program.

The core collection of books from the Lilienfeld Library, approximately 2,000 books that were used or purchased within the last three years, are available at Welch on the 5th floor of the stacks.

Access to all electronic resources and services including high quality, relevant electronic journals, books and databases and electronic reserves remain available through WelchWeb and our specialized portals.
